October is Breast Cancer Awareness month. Organising a Pink Ribbon morning tea is a great way to catch up with friends and raise donations for the Breast Cancer Foundation as 1 in 8 women will develop breast cancer in their lifetime. Someone close to my heart was effected by breast cancer and I believe the more people who come together, raise money and donate for BCF, the more lives will be saved in the future.

Here is a morning tea I organised. No rules apply in regards to what to serve and how to decorate but personally, I’m a sucker for scones (with lots of cream!!!!!) and tarts of all sorts! Adding a splash of pink whether it be via musk sticks or roses is a nice way to incorporate the breast cancers international awareness colour. A morning tea of this kind is the perfect occasion to revive your grandparents crockery to sip on tea and think pink.

I encourage everyone to organise something exciting and different in light of a good cause!
